Our client is a long‑standing, accredited Western Australian not‑for‑profit organisation providing crucial services in community support, early learning, family assistance and out‑of‑home care.

They are currently seeking a People & Culture Officer to deliver high-quality, customer‑focused HR support across the organisation. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing HR systems, coordinating onboarding and learning programs, and supporting a broad suite of people-related projects.

Immediate start is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring documentation is compliant, accurate, and auditable
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction and assist with learning and development programs 
  • Provide timely HR advice and support across the organisation
  • Contribute to HR policy development, review and implementation
  • Act as a project officer on HR initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders on workforce projects 
  • Liaise with finance and payroll to meet processing deadlines 
  • Support contract and quality standards across the employee life cycle
About You
  • Experience providing human resources support in a professional environment 
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, workflows and Microsoft applications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in written communication 
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, awards or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to use initiative, problem‑solve and manage competing priorities 
  • Current (or ability to obtain) Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
