Reporting to the Head of Pricing, you will be responsible for the execution of trade strategies in the region, making decisions on short-term pricing management, including prioritisation of customers, commodities & markets for optimal profitability. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, collecting and optimise input data for pricing models, monitoring pricing trends and conducting pricing analyses and modelling to make informed pricing decisions
- Compare planned costs with actual outcomes and highlight the main reasons for any differences.
- Business partnering to make sure cost lines up with supplier agreements and day-to-day processes.
- Calculate the total expenses associated with producing a product or service, including materials and labour.
- Contribute to new product launches by preparing detailed costings and checking margins.
- Price adjustments across the product range to reflect business objectives and shifts in the market.
- Track discounting trends, pricing performance, and margin results by account.
- Produce regular analysis on profitability, cost shifts, and pricing movements.
- Provide practical insights and recommendations to improve pricing decisions and lift margins.
- Support financial planning by supplying input on costs and pricing assumptions during budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with audit requirements and make sure policies for pricing and cost control are followed.
- Take part in projects to improve systems or implement upgrades related to costing and pricing.
You will be a confident communicator who can engage effectively and clearly explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Additionally, you will possess an enthusiastic & ambitious attitude that allows you to work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team.
