About the Role:
As a Procurement Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless operation of the procurement processes. Reporting to the Supply/Demand & Customer Services Manager, your responsibilities will include preparing Supply Chain management plans, selecting top-tier suppliers, negotiating purchases, and overseeing SAP-related activities such as PO creation and change management.
- Manage supplier relationships, sourcing, and claims, ensuring alignment with project strategies.
- Identify and manage procurement risks and opportunities, qualifying suppliers accordingly.
- Negotiate and commit to purchases, in line with set objectives.
- Monitor allocated spends and savings, maintaining up-to-date reports.
- Oversee SPO creation, change management, and other SAP-related tasks.
- Experience in Purchasing/Procurement
- FMCG background preferred
- Strong communication skills
