About the Role: The Digital Lead will report to the Senior Director and will have program/project level oversight and accountability for various aspects of digital implementation in new or redeveloped Queensland Health facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a significant budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
- Lead a large Program workforce, including employees, contractors, and service organizations, ensuring efficient and ethical delivery of program services.
- Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with quality standards and compliance with government policies.
- Oversee the successful delivery of complex ICT projects, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and customer needs.
- Ensure alignment with the departments strategic direction and government initiatives, influencing and collaborating accordingly.
- Manage programs according to best practice guidelines and formal project management methodologies, ensuring consistent and quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, undertaking strategic negotiations and resolving complex risks and issues.
- Monitor and report on program-related trends, capability development, and performance against project plans and budgets.
- Maintain project management capability within the Division by leading, managing, and directing multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Liaise, consult, and negotiate with key senior stakeholders across government departments.
