This is a hands-on, short-term contract role within a healthcare organisation, focused on supporting the finance team with high-volume reconciliations and transactional accounting tasks. You will play a key role in working through outstanding bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and supporting day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume bank reconciliations within SAP, including clearing a large backlog of unreconciled transactions
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies by digging into transaction-level detail
- Manage and clear balance sheet and clearing accounts in SAP
- Post journals in SAP with a clear understanding of correct posting and supporting documentation
- Support basic financial analysis and reporting as required
- Liaise with Financial Accountants and broader finance stakeholders
- Follow established processes and take direction from senior finance leaders while managing day-to-day execution independently
- Proven experience performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations in SAP
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
- Comfortable in a hands-on, transactional accounting role
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate and resolve issues
- Confident communicating with finance team members and stakeholders
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in healthcare or a high-volume finance function will be highly regarded
