Our Client is going through some major growth and are seeking a passionate individual who thrives in a team environment. You will have experience delivering complex projects and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure positive project outcomes. You will have strong software or telematics experience and be comfortable acting as the connective tissue that binds together Products-Engineering-IT- Operations to deliver project excellence to our customers and the business. You will have a solid grasp of core automotive and connected vehicle technologies together and have proven experience working directly with customers.
  
Comfortable and Confident to:
  • • Coordinating and adding value to multiple projects from concept to launch, including all aspects of planning and execution to go live with the client
  • • Execute against the core principles of Software Project Management to successfully deliver positive project outcomes
  • • Manage commercial project issues to align with the project and operational support commitments.
  • • Develop strong partnerships with engineering, product and IT managers and team members
  • • Provide day-to-day support on critical program issues of program scope, schedule, budget, methodology and resources and escalate as necessary.
  • • Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs.
  • • Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths.
  • • Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
  • • Provide solid reporting on project status, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
  
Skill Required:
  • 5+ years of full-time technical project/program management experience, preferably working with software or telematics related projects.
  • • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • • Previous experience with contemporary project management tools and methodologies
  • • High sense of ownership and a focus on building fast without sacrificing quality
  • • Strong written, verbal and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • • Ability to communicate authoritatively at a sufficient technical depth
  • • Outstanding team player with experience leading large, complex team structure
  • • An understanding of emerging technology trends; IoT, AI, Industry 4.0, connected vehicle
  • • Ability to manage through ambiguity and meet timeline objectives
  • • Ability to work in a self-directed environment and drive multiple projects
  • • Ability to move quickly and efficiently between tasks and projects, multitask
