We’re seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in applications and integrations to join a large-scale transformation program. This role sits at the heart of technology delivery and requires someone who can bring structure, influence stakeholders, and drive successful outcomes in partnership with vendors and internal teams. This is an initial 18 month Fixed Term contract with Hybrid working on offer.
 
We are exclusively partnering with a well-regarded, values-driven organisation to source a Project Manager to deliver a major digital transformation. You will work closely with the Data and Business Services team , overseeing two specialist vendors, and working closely with internal teams as they move from a custom-built system to a product-based solution.

The environment blends structured delivery with flexibility — leveraging a Prince2 framework while accommodating agile practices used by delivery partners.
 
This role is Based in Brisbane and will require a locally based candidate who can commit to a minimum of 2-3 days/week in office.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • manage two vendors across platform and migration activities
  • Own all aspects of delivery - scope, schedule, risks, governance, budget
  • Collaborate with internal Data & Business Services team, supporting a smooth handover
  • Apply a flexible delivery approach - primarily Prince2 waterfall, but accommodating vendor methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Contribute to a supportive, people-centric culture - balancing deadlines with empathy and sensitivity
  • Support downstream innovation opportunities post-delivery
What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years’ project management experience across technology, with a strong focus on application and integration delivery.
  • Proven track record delivering integrations projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills – particularly in sensitive or resistant environments.
  • Strong vendor and partner management capabilities.
  • Experience in Agile delivery advantageous, though a balanced and pragmatic approach is key.
  • Ability to bring both structure and adaptability – not too rigid, but not too hands-on either.
