They are looking for a passionate quality professional to join afternoon shift based in the south east of Melbourne.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control Shift Manager to oversee quality operations during assigned shifts within our production facility, ensuring all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site. In this role, you will lead and supervise a team of quality professionals, monitor production processes to maintain product consistency, and ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
You will investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed, while also conducting audits, inspections, and quality checks. Working closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and supply chain, you will maintain accurate documentation and reporting of quality metrics and promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and accountability throughout the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy/Food, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a high care food/dairy processing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
