Our client is a leading public health organisation with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. They are seeking a skilled Revenue Operations Manager to support their finance team during a critical period of transformation and improvement.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a high performing team of 7 and be responsible for:
- Overseeing accounts receivable, patient billing, cash management, and private practice functions
- Driving timely collection of patient and debtor accounts
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives across the billing cycle
- Managing private practice arrangements and reviewing related agreements
- Developing financial models and business cases for new initiatives
- Ensuring accurate identification and billing of private, compensable, and ineligible patients
- Educating staff on billing policies and procedures
- Reviewing and updating documentation to support revenue operations
- Responding to external queries and liaising with legal and senior management
- Supporting quality and safety initiatives and contributing to a culture of inclusion and respect
The Ideal Candidate
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in revenue operations within either the public or private health sector
- Strong understanding of private and Medicare ineligible patient billing
- Proven leadership and change management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
