They are now seeking a driven Senior Accountant to support continued expansion and help elevate the finance function.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager, this role acts as a key support and 2IC within the finance team.
The Senior Accountant (Hybrid MA–FA) will maintain the integrity of the general ledger, lead month-end processes, and support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, providing commercial insights, and driving continuous improvement across systems and reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including preparation and posting of journals.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany, bank, and fixed assets.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with month-end management reporting, including preparation of executive summaries.
  • Support and coordinate external audit requirements.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT returns in line with ATO obligations.
  • Coordinate stocktake activities and ensure accurate reconciliation of results.
  • Conduct sales and customer analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • Assist in cash flow management development and working capital improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate capitalisation and depreciation.
  • Support ERP enhancements and automation projects to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role (manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial experience advantageous).
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capability; ERP experience highly regarded.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical capability.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to partner across the business.
  • Proactive, process-driven, and able to influence continuous improvement.
