The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Support month end process including sales accruals, customer spend reporting etc
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts management reports
- Analysing and Reconciliation of the P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Debtor Management
- Conducting analysis of Job / Project costings
- Understand Operational and Job Management systems to ensure proper flow of Information to Invoicing
- Ensuring our customers are billed in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare weekly reconciliation between Job sheet hours and time and attendance systems
- Assisting Finance Manager in developing and maintaining accurate costing systems in relation to labour and overheads for a project / tender
- Partnering with the business managers to determine and implement process improvements
- Preparing ad-hoc reports to assist management decision-making and operational efficiency
- Office administration and other duties as required
The Candidate
- Tertiary qualified in finance/accounting (mandatory)
- CA/CPA qualification (in progress)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Knowledge of MYOB software or Pronto ERP is an advantage
