If you are experienced personal injuries lawyer specifically focusing on casualties and public liability either on the plaintiff or defendant side and are looking to transition your expertise into one of the pre-eminent practice groups in the Melbourne market place then this is an opportunity you will need to consider.

In this role you will be involved in:
 

• Reviewing medical and other expert material
• Liaising with witnesses and preparing statements
• Researching and providing legal analysis
• Preparing and reviewing discovered documents and evidence
• Drafting court documents, settlement deeds and Medical Panel referrals
• Engaging and liaising with independent experts, counsel, opposing lawyers and mediators
• Preparing advices including on liability, prospects, quantum, reserves and strategy
• Appearing at court, conferences and mediations
• Preparing briefs and instructing counsel during court hearings, mediations and conferences

You will have at least 5 years of experience across personal injuries either on the plaintiff or defendant side. You will also have excellent drafting and negotiation skills + exceptional analytical skills.
