About the Role - We’re seeking a commercially astute and trend-savvy Senior Category Manager to lead a fast-paced categorie. Operating in a high-low pricing environment, this role demands a sharp eye for consumer trends, a deep understanding of trade levers, and a strong command of numbers.
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end category strategy, driving performance through effective pricing, promotional planning, and product lifecycle management. With the support of a dedicated product team and merchandise planners, you’ll ensure the category delivers on financial targets while staying ahead of market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Strategy & Execution - Develop and execute a compelling category strategy aligned with business objectives and customer insights
  • Own the promotional calendar and pricing architecture to maximize trade opportunities and margin.
  • Financial Ownership - Manage all category financials including sales, margin, markdowns, and stock turns.
  • Partner with merchandise planning to forecast, analyze performance, and optimize inventory.
  • Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of 2, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting career development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across product, planning, and marketing.
  • Trend & Market Analysis - Stay ahead of emerging trends and competitor activity to inform product and pricing decisions
  • Work closely with the product team to influence range development and seasonal assortments at the right prices and margins for the customer.
  • Trade Focus - Drive weekly trade reviews, identifying opportunities and risks, and implementing agile responses.
  • Leverage promotional mechanics and in-season trading levers to drive sell-through and profitability.
About You:
  • Proven experience in Category Management or Buying within a trend-led retail environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with a passion for numbers and trading.
  • Experience working in a high-low pricing model with promotional planning expertise. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with multiple stakeholders.
