About the role
You will be responsible for the management and supervision of corporate accounting and corporate services functions, ensuring the quality of all financial accounting, tax and reporting processes, services, outputs and systems. 

Your responsibilities
Providing direct support and advice to the Group Financial Controller, the role partners with FP&A Manager, CFO and members of the Commercial Executive Leadership team. Duties include (but are not limited to):
  
  • Key support to Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer on key projects
  • Preparation of the budget and ongoing forecast
  • Review of cash flow statement and rolling forecast, ensuring all cash flows are accounted for and projected correctly
  • Help deilver end to end financial reporting process 
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting requirements for Parent Company
  • Identify, review and document process improvements
  • Preparation of tax consolidated group ATO requirements (BAS, Income tax instalments and FBT)
  • Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations, thin capitalisation calculation and balance sheet tax provision for the business and tax consolidated group
  • Co-ordinate audit review with external auditors and tax agents, preparation of income tax disclosures and lodgement in line with ATO guidelines
  • Maintaining open communication and ensuring active collaboration amongst cross-divisional stakeholders
  • Assist with multiple ad hoc projects across all areas of finance
  
The successful applicant will have
You will be a CA or CPA qualified accounting professional who has experience operating in large and complex organisations. Experience working within healthcare sector would be advantageous, however not essential. Candidates coming straight out of Big 4 / Mid Tier firms (ideally Business Services) will be considered for the role also. All applicants must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a process improvement mindset and the ability to propose continuous improvement strategies.
