Our client is a large private organisation and they have an urgent requirement for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing automated cloud and on-prem operational models to serve development, testing, monitoring, and maintaining production workloads.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will unify the roles of software Development and IT Operations and have them come together to put software into production for Metricon. The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the success of all the DevOps processes and people and determine how cross-functional tasks are executed across this exciting business.

- EC2 / Elastic Beanstalk
- VPC/ Route 53 / ALB / NLB
- Postgres RDS / DynamoDB
- IAM
- Amazon RDS
- Amazon Lambda
- EventBridge
- Solid experience in Docker and Kubernetes
- In-depth experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines for automated build, release & deployment
- Configuration As A Code using either Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Designing and building alerting and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Application Insights and CloudWatch
- Experience working in Agile teams working in Microservices based architecture and have a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines
