As a Senior Finance Analyst, you’ll be the go-to person for financial and operational insights across multiple Victorian distribution centres. You’ll own reporting, forecasting and cost-to-serve analysis, advise leaders on opportunities to lift performance, and be a key player in rolling out continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Partnering with state and site leadership teams to provide clear, timely reporting on operational and financial performance.
- Driving weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles — month-end, forecasts, budgets, labour planning — plus ad-hoc analysis that helps managers make better decisions on the spot.
- Analysing cost drivers and productivity to identify opportunities, recommend corrective actions and monitor delivery of benefits.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives in operations finance — simplifying, standardising and automating reporting and processes across sites.
- Building and maintaining robust cost-to-serve models to influence decision-making at senior levels.
- Preparing detailed annual operating plans and budgets in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
- Acting as a key link between operations, finance, optimisation and project teams to ensure alignment on targets, initiatives and outcomes.
- Supply Chain, Operations business partnering experience
- Experience with large-scale organisations
- Strength in turning data into actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel/modelling skills and exposure to large-scale systems (SAP/TM1/Tableau a plus).
- Collaborative, proactive style and a passion for improving how things are done.
