Reporting to the Group CFO and leading a team of senior finance professionals, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, tax, compliance, financial reporting, cash flow, and risk. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for process automation and supporting business growth initiatives, including M&A activity.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Oversee AP/AR, working capital, treasury, and daily cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax obligations
- Lead external audits and maintain strong internal controls
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of finance systems
- Deliver financial insights, models, and reporting to support executive decision-making
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to a high-performing finance team
- CPA or CA qualification
- Experience in inventory and costing
- Experience in financial and management accounting
- Strong technical knowledge in Australian accounting standards, tax compliance, and consolidations
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to influence at senior levels
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with D365 and PowerBI is highly regarded
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
