They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their friendly and dynamic team in an integral contract role.
Position Description
Reporting into the Group Payroll Manager, the role will involve the following key tasks:
- High level payroll analysis, including reporting, reconciliation
- Take lead responsibility for award and enterprise agreement legislation
- Be a key point of contact with the payroll team, accounting team and operations
- Review potential improvements in systems and processes
- Drive change and continuous improvement to drive efficiency across the Payroll function
- Developing organisation policies, procedures, standards and training tools
The successful applicant will have proven extensive experience in a similar Payroll Specialist position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive experience within Payroll
- Previous experience in full function Payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
- Experience working in a large organisation
- Proven process improvement initiatives
- Excellent hourly rate - negotiable dependent upon experience
