This is a pivotal senior leadership opportunity within the People & Culture function, playing a critical role in shaping their compensation and benefits strategy to attract, retain, and motivate their diverse workforce. Reporting directly to the EGM and managing a small team, this role is central to ensuring remuneration and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management and optimisation of the company's remuneration and benefits programs and policies, ensuring competitive and equity objectives are met.
- Provide expert governance and guidance on the implementation of the remuneration strategy across divisions, directly supporting employee attraction, motivation, and retention.
- Act as the critical interface between the company and the Group's Remuneration and Benefits team, ensuring consistency and appropriate representation for the organisation.
- Oversee, continuously review, and optimise the benefits structure to meet the company's needs, maximise employee benefits, and deliver a strong return on investment.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of competitor remuneration and benefits information to ensure the ongoing competitiveness of the company's practices.
- Lead key remuneration processes, including the annual remuneration and bonus review, and oversee the remuneration approvals process.
- Drive continuous business process improvements related to remuneration and reporting, leveraging data analytics and technology for process optimisation.
- Lead the management of the company's superannuation arrangements and oversee people reporting and analytics to ensure accurate insights for leaders.
- Provide training and guidance to the broader P&C team on remuneration processes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and ethical standards.
You are a strategic, highly analytical, and influential people leader who thrives in complex, service-based environments. You bring:
- A minimum of 10 years experience in remuneration roles or similar, coupled with a relevant degree qualification.
- Desirable sector experience in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or Services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and engage diverse stakeholders across all levels of an organisation, including senior leadership and external partners.
- Proven proficiency in leveraging technology and data analytics (including experience with large datasets and PowerBI) to deliver fit-for-purpose business solutions and reporting.
- A detail-focused, proactive, energetic, and committed approach, with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of financial models related to remuneration and benefits.
