Position Description
Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading & mentoring a team of 5 who sit across AP/AR/Payroll
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide oversight to the team and ensure timely processing, acting as a back up as required
- Identify and implement process automation, streamlining, or system upgrades
- Optimize cash flow to meet short-term obligations while supporting long-term business goals
- Support & drive finance team projects
- Identify team development needs
- Other tasks as directed by the CFO
The successful applicant will have proven management experience in a similar role along with the following attributes:
- Proven experience managing operational finance teams
- Sound knowledge of current employment legislation, taxation and superannuation obligations
- Intermediate excel skills
- Proactive and autonomous
- Possess ability to identify and develop strategic goals
- Impeccable communication skills
- The ability to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
