A market leading Australian business is in the market for an experienced Shared Services Manager based in Sydney to lead their Accounts Payable & Receivable functions. This is a newly created role designed to provide leadership, drive process improvements, and support ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead and manage AP and AR teams across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to resolve escalations and ensure operational excellence.
- Drive process improvement, modernisation, and standardisation across both functions, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support company projects and maintaining strong collaboration internally.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and development for team members.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience managing large AP and AR teams, with strong people management capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end AP and AR processes.
- Experience driving change and process improvement in a complex, multi-site environment.
- SAP or large ERP system experience essential
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with a hands-on approach while inspiring and developing your team.
