About the ROle
  
As the SHEQ Officer you will be the go-to person on site for all things safety, quality and food safety standards. You will coach and support teams on the floor, partner with the leadership team onsite, and help embed a strong culture around safe and high quality production practices. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being in a hands on and involved manufacturing role, solving practical problems and bring people on this journey as the company grows
  
What you'll do
  • Champion safe work practices and food safety culture across two manufacturing sites in Sydney
  • Support the rollout and ongoing improvement of SHEQ systems and processes
  • Coach frontline teams on HACCP, GMP and safe operating practices
  • Conduct routine checks, investigations and corrective actions when needed
  • Review and maintain documentation, training materials and traceability records
  • Work collaboratively with operations, engineering and supply chain teams.
What you bring
  • Degree/Qualification in food safety related subject.
  • Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO Quality Systems, HACCP and GMP environments will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within FSSC 22000, BRC, or SQF certified environments (highly regarded)
  • Previous exposure to Safety Culture software will be highly regarded.
