Why should you apply?

This is an ideal role for a graduate engineer who wants to move beyond theory and into real manufacturing leadership. You’ll gain end-to-end exposure to people leadership, automated equipment, fault-finding, and continuous improvement - working closely with production, maintenance, QA, and logistics.

Rather than being siloed, you’ll be trusted with responsibility early, supported by experienced leaders, and developed with the long-term goal of progressing into operations, engineering, or leadership roles.

About the role

As Team Leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day packing operations, providing clear direction to a team of operators while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. You’ll spend time on the floor, learning how automated systems behave in real conditions and how strong leadership directly impacts performance.

This role blends technical curiosity with people leadership - perfect for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing outcomes.

Roster: Rotating 12-hour shifts across a 24/7 operation

  • Coordinate labour allocation and effective shift handovers
  • Coach and develop operators, building engagement and accountability
  • Maintain strong housekeeping, hygiene, and audit-ready standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the packing function
