About the Role
This Supply Chain Planner role is responsible for supporting end-to-end planning activities across demand forecasting, inventory management and the monthly S&OP cycle.
Reporting to the Planning Manager and working closely with Finance, Sales, Category and Operations teams, the position plays a key role in maintaining stock availability while balancing inventory investment and forecast accuracy.
You will work across a complex product portfolio, supporting product launches, analysing planning data and improving forecasting discipline to drive better supply chain outcomes.
The role is based onsite in Scoresby (5 days per week) with flexible start times available.
Duties
• Support monthly S&OP planning cycle execution
• Maintain rolling 12-month inventory projections
• Analyse forecast vs actual performance
• Partner with sales on demand planning decisions
• Support new product launches and range changes
• Reconcile purchase orders against forecasts
• Monitor stock risks and supply disruptions
• Produce KPI reporting on availability performance
• Analyse planning data using Excel and planning tools
• Communicate supply updates to stakeholders
Skills and Experience Must Have
• Experience in supply chain or demand planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Advanced Excel skills
• Stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working with forecasts and inventory data
Nice to Have
• Exposure to S&OP environments
• Experience with planning or MRP systems
• Background in retail, FMCG or product-based businesses
• Degree in business, supply chain or analytical discipline
