This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected national professional services firm as Talent Acquisition Lead, where you’ll shape the recruitment strategy, elevate the employment brand, and attract exceptional talent across Australia.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment and selection function across all offices nationally.

You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to design and deliver effective sourcing strategies, manage key recruitment campaigns (including senior and specialist roles), and oversee early career programs that build a strong pipeline of future talent.

This is a diverse and strategic role with the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s people agenda, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement across recruitment systems and practices.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
  • Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs, providing expert advice and market insights.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for professional, legal, and corporate services roles.
  • Oversee graduate and early career recruitment programs, including university engagement.
  • Strengthen the firm’s employment brand through targeted campaigns and social media activity.
  • Mentor and support the Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, trends, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment activities.
About you
You’re a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for finding great talent.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (highly regarded).
