An opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Territory Manager to join a well-established leader in the sustainable packaging industry. Based in Sydney’s Southeast, this field-based role will manage an existing portfolio while driving new business across the foodservice, industrial, and commercial packaging sectors.
The position offers a high level of autonomy with full territory ownership, working within a collaborative national sales team and reporting to an experienced Sales Manager. This is a commercially focused role with strong internal support and a clear opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Duties
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts within your allocated territory
- Identify and secure new business with distributors, processors, and direct accounts
- Promote value-add packaging solutions aligned to customer needs and market demand
- Prepare and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline updates, and CRM records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service and delivery outcomes
- Report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights
Skills and experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a territory management or B2B sales role
- Strong relationship management and business development capability
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a field-based sales territory
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Industry experience in packaging, distribution, or related B2B environments preferred
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the Southeast Sydney region
