The Role
As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software by executing structured testing activities across the full SDLC. Working closely with Test Leads and delivery teams, you'll apply risk-based and requirements-driven testing to ensure solutions meet both business and technical expectations.
This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working across functional, integration, and API testing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional and non-functional testing across ICT systems
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Perform regression and end-to-end (E2E) testing across integrated systems
- Conduct API testing (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML services)
- Support defect lifecycle management (logging, triage, retesting, reporting)
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and Test Leads to ensure quality outcomes
- Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting aligned to frameworks and standards
- Assist with test automation execution and result analysis
- Continuously improve testing processes and promote best practices
You are a motivated Test Analyst with a solid foundation in structured testing methodologies and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.
Essential:
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in functional testing
- Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and SDLC
- Ability to interpret business and technical requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP)
- Exposure to test automation tools (basic execution level)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
- Additional ISTQB certifications (e.g. CTAL-TTA, CTAL-TAE, CT-AI)
- Experience with integration or enterprise-scale systems
- Exposure to government or large enterprise environments
