The Role
This is a newly created, critical, expert role in the National Safety team with a focus on Supply Chain. Support the continual improvement of the safety culture, strategy, plan, and performance across the ANZ Region.
Head Office Location: inner Melbourne; OR South-East hub.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the Transport Safety/CoR strategy particular to supply chain.
- Execute on the identified key safety priorities and establish measurable CI objectives.
- Provide insight to supply chain leaders on evolving safety trends and transport regulations.
- Support a national BU of 2000+ FTE.
- Design and embed systems, audit processes, training packages and reporting structures.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant qualifications and credentials in WHS.
- Demonstrated industry experience in road/transport safety and Chain of Responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant safety legislation.
- Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Highly analytical with the ability to design and implement frameworks and processes.
- Ability to develop reporting and metrics for all levels of the Supply Chain network.
