Working within an Agile release train, the UX/UI Designer will use lean UX principles to champion the member in design delivery, creating impactful design solutions. Additionally, they must have a blended skillset of user experience and user interface design capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the creation of design artefacts for member journeys, including user flows, prototypes, interfaces, and visual designs.
- Design, drive, and facilitate creative/ideation workshops with senior stakeholders, leveraging design thinking and lean design methodologies.
- Translate product requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity visual designs, iterating digital interfaces based on user feedback to create seamless and engaging digital experiences.
- Create intuitive, user-friendly design interfaces for web and mobile applications grounded in human-centred design.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to align design decisions with business and customer goals.
- Conduct and synthesise user testing and usability sessions, gathering insights to inform design decisions.
- Utilise and contribute to the digital design system, ensuring consistency and innovation in componentry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UX/UI design
- At least 2 years’ experience delivering UX/UI designs within a fast-paced AGILE environment, with specific experience in mobile app design - ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, prototyping tools, and user testing platforms
- Passion for co-designing meaningful digital experiences and championing the customer in design delivery
- Broad experience across user flows, UX/UI, agile development, and lean design
- Demonstrated experience in delivering commercially successful customer solutions
- Openness to, or experience with, using AI in the design process (desired)
