Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Overview: Reporting to an Operations Manager dedicated to staff development, we are seeking a proactive and driven Warehouse Manager to lead our expanding team of passionate pet food enthusiasts. As the Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the efficient and timely delivery of pet food products while maintaining exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of warehouse operators, fostering their growth and success through effective guidance and support.
  2. Operations Management: Take charge of daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping of pet food products.
  3. Quality Assurance: Uphold strict product quality standards, ensuring all products prepared for shipment meet company specifications.
  4. Inventory Control: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to maintain ideal stock quantities and facilitate accurate order fulfillment.
  5. Training and Development: Train and develop team members to enhance their skills, productivity, and knowledge of safety protocols, ensuring they perform at their best.
  6. Safety Oversight: Champion a secure work environment by enforcing safety procedures and guidelines, actively mitigating risks.
  7. Scheduling and Task Coordination: Plan and coordinate work schedules, tasks, and priorities for the team, ensuring a well-organized workflow.
  8. Communication Facilitation: Promote effective communication among team members and various departments, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  9. Problem Resolution: Identify and address issues or obstacles that may hinder fulfillment efficiency, proactively implementing solutions.
  10. Reporting and Performance Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates on fulfillment activities and key performance indicators to the management team, facilitating data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
  1. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership or supervisory roles, preferably within a warehouse environment.
  2. Warehouse Operations Knowledge: A solid understanding of warehouse and fulfillment operations, including inventory management and order processing.
  3. Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks.
  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for problem-solving and customer-oriented service.
  5. Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols and a dedicated approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
  6. Computer Proficiency: Skilled in using Excel and relevant Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  7. Flexibility: The capability to adapt to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced work environment.
