About the Role
Reporting to the Group Head of HR, this newly created position offers the chance to own and shape WHS strategy and injury management across a broad network. You'll work closely with General Managers across AU and NZ to embed safety practices, build trust, and deliver on meaningful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with GMs and employees on workers compensation or ACC
- Lead WHS meetings across AU and NZ and foster shared ownership of safety
- Manage end-to-end workers compensation and return-to-work programs
- Drive completion of WHS checklist actions (targeting 85% completion within 12 months)
- Review and maintain policies and procedures via SharePoint
- Deliver toolbox talks and WHS communications
- Assist in incident reviews and workers compensation claims, as required
- Develop risk management plans for high-risk roles or tasks
- Support and promote wellbeing and psychosocial safety initiatives
- 8+ years’ experience in WHS and/or injury management roles
- Proven success managing RTW and workers compensation across ANZ
- Warm, empathetic, and confident supporting injured workers and coaching stakeholders
- Skilled in influencing safety outcomes across varied business units
- Comfortable operating without a formal WHS system – confident managing documentation manually
- Deep understanding of WHS legislation across AU and NZ
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field
- Willingness to travel across AU and NZ
