About the role  A rare and exciting opportunity within a multinational Infrastructure organisation has arisen to fill a key role in their indirect taxation team. This individual will take ownership of group wide FBT and LAFHA related items.  The responsibilities Reporting into the Group Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Be one of the key members of a large, centralized tax team of a multinational large infrastructure group Manage preparation of FBT Returns for various, diversified entities within the group. Liaise with the business units and collect relevant FBT data. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the business units and associates. Manage the LAFHA process within the group. Provide accurate and reliable tax advice to the business units. Manage preparation and review of income tax returns of joint venture. Analise and review tax sensitive GL transactions Manage reconciliation of tax accounts Continuously improve and automate FBT and other tax processes. Assist the Group Tax manager with various tax related projects and process improvements. The successful applicant will have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. 3-5 years exposure to a similar position within a relevant, project-based industry is desirable. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and autonomously. About the role: Our client, who are a multinational organisation located in North Sydney, is in need of a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will have a high focus on payroll accounting and will ensure the financial integrity of the firm’s payroll function. This position suits an experienced and qualified accountant who has an extensive knowledge of payroll regulation.    Key Responsibilities: Preparation/review of payroll, clearing and employee provision balance sheet account reconciliations Download and generate all payroll costing and employee leave liability reports Collaborate with internal payroll services team, supporting and advising their day-to-day responsibilities. Assist with Payroll tax reporting as required. Preparation/Review and posting of payroll accounting journals. Assist Senior Payroll Accountant with monthly financial reporting requirements as required. Provide timely response to both internal and external audit queries. The successful applicant will have: CA/CPA Qualification 5 + Years experience in a payroll related accounting position Previous experience within infrastructure or construction desired.
