About Our Client Our client is a privately owned Australian import/distribution business who provide their customers with high end quality products from around the world. Role And Responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working as part of a small finance team, you will be responsible for: Performing account payable function, including preparing, reconciling domestic and overseas payment Allocating and receipting payments, and reconciling customer accounts Verifying invoice prices against supporting documents Daily banking, petty cash and expense reimbursement reconciliation Bank reconciliation and other month end reconciliation Processing, allocating and closing import costs to appropriate shipment Processing credit applications by ensuring they are appropriately completed, reference checked, for final approval by the Accountant and General Manager Successful Applicant Bachelor level degree in Accounting is advantageous Prior work experience in a similar Accounts Officer / Accounts Clerk role High level of computer literacy High attention to detail and strong time management skills Motivated and a self-starter Good knowledge on Excel spreadsheet Excellent communication Skill (written and verbal) Team player and ability to multitask To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
