They are on the lookout for a Payroll Governance / Compliance Officer to facilitate the running, delivery and controlling of the payment of wages and salaries, and to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and company Policies and Procedures.  Responsibilities  Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for: Ensuring all payments are made in accordance with Awards, Agreements, Company Policy and Procedures, FairWork, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and other relevant legislative requirements Identifying and consolidating payroll compliance risks and issues Identifying process improvement strategies Maintain award data and ensure wages payments comply with EBA or awards Plan and implement all payroll changes in relation to new and amended industrial instruments.
