About the role: An exciting opportunity working for a rapidly expanding data science company currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Systems Accountant role will involve supporting in the integration, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. The Responsibilities:Reporting directly into the General Manager of Finance, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand their requirements, goals and workflows. Work with an Engineer to configure, customise, and implement changes to meet those needs effectively. Provide technical SME support and assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems related to the software applications. Develop and deliver documentation to educate end-users on application functionalities, best practices and troubleshooting techniques. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain integration of applications with the data warehouse. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities on software applications, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Initial focus on D365, Kantata and budgeting and forecasting tool. Examining existing processes across the Finance function and introducing process improvements using technology. The Candidate Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA/CA/CIMA or similarly qualified or working towards Several years experience in accounting or finance, with a strong systems track record (Implementations or Systems Accounting) with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP.
