About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a leading provider of corporate merchandise and promotional solutions. This hands-on, relationship-focused role is responsible for generating new business, reactivating dormant accounts, and converting opportunities into consistent revenue streams.

Duties
  • Identify, contact, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries.
  • Reactivate dormant client accounts through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to showcase product ranges and branding capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal design and production teams to create customised proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, and close contracts to finalise sales.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking functions, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the corporate merchandise market and competitor offerings.
  • Provide regular sales reporting, pipeline updates, and forecasts to senior management.
Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition and client reactivation.
  • Comfortable in an outbound, face-to-face sales environment with regular travel.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with decision-makers at all levels.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs and budgets.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM will be well received.
  • Sound commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills.
  • A valid Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
