We’re supporting a high-performing global organisation in the sporting goods sector to appoint a Finance Business Partner within their ANZ business. This is a key role for an analytically strong, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering across multiple functions to drive clarity, performance and growth.
About the Role
As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide strategic financial insight, reporting, and analysis to senior leaders and operational teams. This role requires someone who can translate numbers into meaningful actions, challenge constructively, and help guide decision-making across a diverse business.
You will work closely with teams such as Supply Chain, IT, HR, Customer Service and Sales/Operations—so proven experience partnering cross-functionally is essential. The role also has one direct report and contributes to both local and regional strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial insights, modelling and analysis that support business performance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and drive alignment with strategic objectives
- Identify risks, opportunities, and trends to influence decision-making
- Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews with senior stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial governance
- Partner cross-functionally to improve efficiencies, guide channel strategy and support operational teams
- Lead, coach and develop a finance analyst
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering
- Strong track record influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functional areas
- Excellent analytical and modelling capability (Excel, Power BI advantageous)
- Able to communicate complex financial information clearly and meaningfully
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
