About the Role
As the Finance Manager, you will lead the company’s accounting and financial functions, including preparation of all internal financial accounts over the coming months whilst the incumbent is on extended annual leave.  Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Manage and control all financial related activities of the business including month end and year end process
  • Day to day management of the accounting and reporting function for all entities
  • Deliver end to end accounting across each business entity in an accurate and timely manner
  • General ledger and key financial reports
  • Review and analysis of revenue and expense, P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Cash flow management, including all financial controls and processes with a focus on driving efficiencies and accuracy
  • Timely financial reporting across business entities including Executive Management Team
  • Proactive analysis of financial performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Ongoing development of business financial strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial institutes, insurance companies and other key suppliers
  • Manage and deliver business services across the group including financial asset management
  • Work with operational team to set and deliver on financial targets across the business
  • Preparation and lodgment of BAS, deal with the ATO on taxation or other finance related issues as required
  • Support, develop and communicate with the accounts team on a regular basis including weekly meetings
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the team
Skills and Experience
CA/CPA qualified, you will have very good attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge, as well as will have strong Excel skills.  As a leader in the Finance functions, you will have exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in your team and across the organisation.
