Reporting to the Group Finance Manager – Financial Reporting, Governance & Policy, the Financial Accounting Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Financial Reporting and consolidation for the group into a global parent
- Preparation of groups annual and half year financial reports
- Leading and mentoring the Accounting Team; including contributing to embedding a culture of service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement throughout the team
- Contribute to the Financial Governance processes of the Group to ensure the financial records have been properly maintained and that the financial statements comply with the appropriate accounting standards and give a true and fair view of the financial position and performance of the Company
- Degree qualified (Business, Commerce)
- CA/CPA qualified
- 5+ years’ work experience within a financial accounting and reporting environment including consolidations and technical accounting analysis
- Strong team management and communication skills
- Strong time management skills, with an ability to deliver on critical reporting deadlines
- Ability to influence at and hold other to account for delivery against timelines
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Project and change management expertise
- Advanced Excel skills
