Our client is seeking to appoint a passionate and hands-on HR Business Partner who enjoys working closely with operations, building trust on the ground, and navigating complex, people-first environments with integrity and confidence.

You’ll partner deeply with operational leaders and frontline teams, supporting a workforce that does significant and impactful work. Success in this role is lead by being resourceful, pragmatic, and open to learning.

As the HR Business Partner, you will work alongside operations leaders to provide practical, consultative HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will be visible, trusted and approachable and work alongside a strong HR team and leader.

Key focus areas include:
  • Build trusted, respectful partnerships with operations teams by being visible, collaborative and solutions-focused
  • Lead end-to-end employee relations matters, including investigations and termination processes, with fairness, empathy and confidence
  • Coach and influence leaders to strengthen people leadership capability and foster an enablement-focused culture
  • Interpret and apply industrial instruments, employment legislation and organisational policies in a practical, commercial way
  • Contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and change initiatives that support sustainable growth
  • Support and deliver engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives that positively impact employee experience
  • Leverage people insights and employee feedback to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
You will ideally bring:
  • Experience in a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar generalist role
  • Exposure to employee relations, awards and Fair Work processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in IR and enterprise agreements
  • A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, with an openness to building positive, pragmatic relationships
