- Lead and mentor a small payroll team
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll across multiple states and Awards/EBAs.
- Ensure full compliance with PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, FBT, and ATO requirements.
- Manage payroll tax, workers’ comp, group tax, and end-of-month reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, system upgrades, and process digitisation.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to deliver better reporting and workforce insights.
- Build strong relationships across the business and lead by example.

- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance (PAYG, Super, FBT, etc.)
- Proven experience leading a payroll team in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView
- Solid understanding of Awards/EBAs and payroll reporting processes
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative, proactive, and can-do attitude
- Media industry exposure is a plus
