About the Role:

Our client, a well-established healthcare provider operating Urgent Care Clinics across the Bayside area, is seeking a motivated and organised Healthcare Administration Assistant to join their growing support hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in healthcare administration within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Operations team, you’ll assist with rostering, general administration, facility coordination, and staff communication, helping ensure clinics run smoothly and efficiently. The role includes a rotating weekend roster including every second weekend. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple clinic sites.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining staff rosters for GPs, Nurses, and Reception teams.
  • Coordinate supplies, facilities, and general clinic maintenance requests.
  • Support on-call coverage for operational or staffing queries (as required).
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and communication logs.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, or a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident and professional communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with rostering systems (e.g. Tanda) or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
