About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in establishing strong governance practices, supporting program delivery, and ensuring the directorate operates with clarity, discipline, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing high-quality executive artefacts such as briefing papers, presentations, analysis, and reports to support timely decision-making.
- Leading and maintaining directorate operating rhythms including meetings, forward planning, priority tracking, and reporting cycles.
- Overseeing governance activities for senior program forums, including agenda preparation, minutes, action registers, and RAID management.
- Reviewing and quality-assuring program and workstream reporting to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Coordinating and shaping board packs that clearly articulate priorities, risks, dependencies, and program progress.
- Leading workforce and onboarding activities across the directorate, ensuring capability and capacity are well managed.
- Building strong relationships across internal ICT, digital, and business stakeholders to support alignment between program and BAU activities.
- Providing proactive visibility of risks, constraints, competing deadlines, and delivery pressures, enabling effective prioritisation and escalation.
- Supporting change and stakeholder engagement activities to drive adoption of new digital and governance practices.
- Operating confidently and calmly as part of a diverse team, using sound judgement to manage complex ICT and transformation work.

You bring:
- Strong experience in program coordination, governance, or executive-level support in a complex organisation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing governance forums, RAID logs, decision tracking, and senior reporting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and document/records management systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering accurate, timely outputs.
- Experience in digital transformation, ICT delivery, or information governance environments.
- Experience working within agile or multi-stream programs.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications such as project management, business administration, Agile, or Prosci Change Management.
