This a permanent role for an amazing tech company that is growing rapidly.
We are looking for a Technology Specialist to advance the development of new solutions and accelerate the onboarding of new customers. This role will be client facing and responsible for technical pre-sales support, solution design and implementation services working as an extension of the central technology team.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the local technical point of contact and expert to support our clients discussions with various partners.
- Delivering technical expertise to shape the development and launch of new products, powered by the our client platform, with their clients.
- Working closely with the Global Technology team to provide an excellent level of service
- Preparing technical documentation (including requirements specifications
- Preparing the specifications for change requests made by clients, ensuing that the central development team can efficiently deliver the agreed changes
- Providing regular advice on the progress of all activities, risks and accomplishments to management
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings and workshops
In terms of experience and skills the ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience in Development (Full Stack) and experience in Technology consulting or Products development.
- Have strong Javascript experience in node.js, npm, android and react.js framework
- Be familiar with Linux, log reading technologies and Git/Github for code management
- Have the ability to diagnose problems within browsers using console output
- Have developer and pre-sales support experience, preferably in a retail (ecommerce) Software, and/or technology environment.
- Experience with API and Integration, Cloud solutions, especially with AWS, EC2, AWS Lambda (very nice to have)
- Sound business and technical awareness gained from experience working on medium to large-sized projects.
- Strong writing/documentation skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including technical staff and subject matter experts
