This is a key partnering role supporting a diverse operational portfolio, supporting leaders with day-to-day HR and ER support, case management, and workplace investigations.
Reporting to the Head of HR, this role suits an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and contributing to organisational change. You will play a pivotal role in supporting leaders through change, and ensuring processes are upheld and valued to uphold compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including complex and sensitive matters
- Lead workplace investigations and provide clear, compliant outcomes
- Provide expert advice on performance management, misconduct, and grievances
- Partner with leaders across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, engagement, and offboarding
- Coach leaders to build confidence and capability in people management
- Provide advice on awards, industrial instruments, and employment legislation
- Support change management initiatives and cultural alignment across operations and corporate teams
- Identify opportunities to improve people practices, policies, and processes
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Strong experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on employee relations
- Proven experience managing complex ER cases and workplace investigations
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices
- Ability to coach and support leaders in people decision-making
