We are currently searching for an accomplished Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the Accounts Team. In this role, you will drive excellence, cultivate growth, and achieve outstanding results. We are looking for a personable and engaging professional with a keen eye for detail to oversee and enhance our accounts receivable operations. Position Overview: As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our accounts receivable operations. You will lead a team of AR specialists, manage the invoicing and collections processes, and ensure that our accounts receivable functions are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor a team of accounts receivable staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the AR function. Monitor and analyse aging reports, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies. Manage customer accounts, addressing and resolving billing disputes and payment issues in a timely manner. Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable metrics and trends to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to support smooth financial operations and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and AR processes. Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving performance and improving processes. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
