About the Role Reporting to an experienced and supportive Head of Finance, this broad and hands-on role offers exposure across both corporate and operational finance. Key responsibilities include: Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare and post journals, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain general ledger accuracy Review and analyse P&L accounts, ensuring integrity of monthly results Manage month-end and year-end processes, supporting internal and external audits Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of management reports Treasury & Cashflow Support accounts payable and monitor bank accounts to ensure effective cashflow management Prepare cashflow forecasts and working capital analysis Review and reconcile corporate card transactions and employee expense claims Payroll & Compliance Support payroll processing and ensure accurate leave and employee records Prepare and reconcile payroll journals, superannuation, BAS, and FBT submissions Assist with internal control, compliance, and policy development initiatives Operational & Manufacturing Support Partner with the regional manufacturing site to ensure accuracy of inventory, freight, and production costing Support regular stocktake activities and operational reporting This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant in the upward phase of their career who wants to broaden their exposure, learn directly from a high-calibre Head of Finance, and develop within a well-established Australian business.
